Hour 1

:00 - Hey Macarena! Everybody sing along with Jim Packard Luterhan Dance Mix, then we'll get into the program opening, sponsors, and the man "who is convinced his tomatoes have been gentically altered by something his neighbors did in their yard..."

:02 - All The News That Wasn't

:06 - Hotline Call-In--The First Week of Kindergarten

:20 - Another Hey Macarena? No, it's John and Jeff playing "Bird-like."

:25 - There's some great folks in the audience today. Mary Ann met her husband in the church basement, but not playing Bingo. After 54 years of marriage, she thinks she could have done worse. Then move on to ice cream and butter with a group from food science. No melting and improved spreadability.

: 35 - The Whad'Ya Know? Quiz with Barbara who needs to put her shoes on and send some greetings Clear Lake, Iowa and Megan the Macarena Girl. It's a battle of wits over Aboriginal shields, the Finnish national dance, and Calvin Coolidge quotes.

:03 - John's playing a wedding, but not Jeff's. Otherwise there isn't any tour info, but a great jazzy tune until their next paying gig.

:09 - People are doing great in the audience, even if they're not football fans. Michael meets a farmer in swine production who inherited the father-in-law's farm. Really, he loves it. Then, school doesn't start in California until the end of September, so the students are still kicking back because there isn't a lot of partying with the Jesuits out in California. And Kristine has a complaint about the pencils...if people stopped stealing them it wouldn't be a problem.

:26 - The Whad'Ya Know? Quiz with David who is here with the trucking minister and Maureen who knows about getting President Clinton out of a funk by teasing him. Test your knowledge of physician salaries, whose chop sticks are bigger, and what percent of greeting cards are bought by women.
