Hour 1

:00 - Program opening, sponsors, and an introduction for the man in some European language that can only be heard to be understood.

:01 - All The News that Isn't

:05 - From All The News. . . we segue into a fascinating piece of legislation, the Supreme Court ruling on G-strings for exotic dancers (strippers). Tune in for some not-so-tantalizing legalese on the curve of the protuberance and how much needs to be covered. . .

:06 - Guest Interview with Author Laura Zigman

:18 - On another bird note, in Wisconsin there is legislation pending to legalize a hunting season for the mourning dove. It doesn't matter to lots of folks that the mourning dove is the Wisconsin State Symbol of Peace, they're ready to blast'em. Michael invites callers to weigh in on some random acts of violence perpetuated by mourning doves. If we're going to shoot them, we need a reason. . . besides that they are really good eating. . .

:21 - John and Jeff are musicians not hunters, so they'll soothe our savage beasts with Upper Manhattan Medical Society.

:26 - So, the mourning dove isn't just the docile bird you thought. Christopher had a couple slam into his car windshield (although it could have been the pesticide they'd been sprayed with and not a true malicious act), Cindy said they monopolize the bird feeder, then have the nerve to foul it when they finally leave, and Mike called to say they've tricked hunters into shooting each other instead of the birds. Maybe we should have a hunting season. . .

:35 - There aren't many hunters in the audience, but Phil from Joliet has had Cornish game hen before. Then Michael meets a retiring French teacher who plans to never speak it again, and Cheryl from Merrimac who said the ferry is running so come on over.

:38 - The Four Disclaimers and the Whad'Ya Know? Quiz with Linette from Champaign and Jeremy from Omaha. Do you know how Tony Blair is influencing President Clinton? Or, how many Johanns or Johannas Mr. Bach sired? Listen in for all the answers.

Hour 2

:00 - Program opening, sponsors, and another introduction in French with something about a staircase. . .

:01 - The Place To Be is Hell, Michigan

:06 - John's got a little twitch, which will only make this tune, Afternoon In Paris even better.

:10 - Michel heads into the audience for a Junior High School reunion with a former classmate. She's still impressed that Michael told the teacher two ham on rye, Kosher. Then Michael goes in search of Paige in the unisex bathroom. Apparently she spilled some coffee on her shirt, or maybe she wanted to get away from Michael. . .

:30 - The Whad'Ya Know? Quiz with Benjamin from Hayward High School and Laura from Paoli. It's an all-Wisconsin Quiz this hour, and they know what you have, when you have the inside of a cow.

:50 - Town of the Week - Fredericksburg, Texas
