Thanks for the Memos

Some time ago, about 1985, someone sent a memo from a hospital pathology unit, which described the conversion of the men's toilet into a doctor's office and the domino effect it had on the elevator's transformation into the autopsy dressing room. Needless to say, I was hooked: "Thanks for the Memos" was born.

Since that fateful moment I have received (which is not to say kept, as it quickly begins to get ridiculous) some six or seven thousand memos. This section is dedicated to the pursuit of memos. Browse our offerings and be sure to send us your own additions.

The Swallowed Ring and Dating Advice

Newspaper clipping from Beloit, Wisconsin where one man, one woman, were trying to form a union, but it didn't work. So, he swallowed the ring. Just what will she do to get it back? Or not? Then, a fourteen-year-old fan wrote in looking for some advice on how to ask out that really hot babe. Michael doesn't have a pick-up line that works, so go Greg Brady, if that's your style.
